Professional development one day course for teachers, artists and educators
Using folk music to enhance learning in schools
This practical course will share material developed through The Full English learning programme.
The day will be led by experienced educator Carolyn Robson (leading folk arts educator with extensive experience using folk song and music in schools), with input from Hazel Askew (artist) and Katie Butler, Music Leader at Primrose Hill Primary School who participated in the The Full English schools' programme.
Providing ‘ready to go' knowledge, skills and resources, these courses will enable participants to start using folk music immediately in their teaching!
No previous experience of folk music or other folk arts required.
