London Fiddle Convention

Cecil Sharp House, London

The London Fiddle Convention is the most important date in every London fiddler’s calendar: a chance to meet friends, learn new tunes, see some amazing playing and buy some fiddle stuff. You'll rarely meet so many fiddlers in one place!

There will be a series of afternoon workshops, a fiddle contest, session in the bar and an evening concert featuring a wide range of performers. You don't have to be a fiddle player, the concert is open to everyone and you're guaranteed a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, and a great set of performances. Guests this year are Ian Fraser (Scottish/Canadian), Jock Tyldesley (Cajun/Old Time), Tom Moore (English), Dr Chan Dacan (Chinese Erhu), Gundula Gruen (Balkan), Pete Cooper (English/Old time) and Chris Haigh (bluegrass).
