London Fiddle Convention

-

Cecil Sharp House, London

The London Fiddle Convention showcases a huge range of fiddle styles.

It's the most important date in every London fiddler's calendar; a chance to meet friends, learn new tunes, see some amazing playing, buy some fiddle stuff. You'll rarely meet so many fiddlers in one place! And YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A FIDDLE PLAYER! The concert is open to everyone and you're guaranteed a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, and a great set of performances. Guests include Germa Adan (Haiti), Emily Askew (English), Emily Smith (American Old time), Francesca Ter-Berg (Folk Cello, klezmer), Gundula Gruen (Balkan), Pete Cooper (English/Old time) and Chris Haigh (bluegrass).
