Join our Youth Forum and get your voice heard at EFDSS and Cecil Sharp House!

Gain experience in producing and marketing youth events, meet folk artists, and attend gigs. Tell us what you think and take an active role in what happens at Cecil Sharp House.

Who is it for?

For 14-21 year olds (disabled young people up to 24 years old) who are passionate about the folk arts.


When and where does it take place?

The Youth Forum meets monthly and runs additional special events at Cecil Sharp House.

What has the Youth Forum been up to so far?

In October 2016 Youth Forum members met duo Gilmore and Roberts and attended their gig at Cecil Sharp House. Read Lauren's interview with Gilmore & Roberts and Aaron's review of the gig. 

The Youth Forum organises regular Youth Ceilidhs at Cecil Sharp House. Read Rowan's piece about the first ceilidh. 

They also programmed and produced The Takeover in July 2017 and 2018, and have recently launched The Young Folk Club.

Membership of the Youth Forum is free but places are limited.
