Trefusis Hall is one of the most flexible rooms at Cecil Sharp House. It is used as a dance studio, for medium-sized concerts, dances, rehearsals, training days, conferences and banquets. With a sprung floor, mirrored wall and doors opening out onto the walled garden, this is a pleasant and versatile space.
The floor was replaced and the room was fully redecorated in 2017.
Ideal for parties, conferences, auditions and workshops, rehearsals and concerts.
Lady Mary Trefusis was President of the English Folk Dance Society from 1913 until her death in 1927.
To exit this space in the event of a fire or other emergency evacuation, please note that our lift cannot be used and it will be necessary to use steps to reach ground level. Trefusis Hall has 14 steps up and 3 steps down to ground level.
