Cecil Sharp House – home of the English Folk Dance and Song Society (EFDSS) and the Vaughan Williams Memorial Library (VWML) – is England’s dedicated folk arts centre. We host concerts, festivals, weekly classes, seasonal courses and much more.

Disabled customers who have joined our access register are entitled to a free companion ticket to any of our events. Please call the box office on 020 7485 2206 to join the access register.
Any online order containing one or more tickets is subject to a single £2 fee per transaction.
Telephone bookings are subject to a single £2.50 fee per transaction.
If your order is only for Education courses or Folkshop items, no transaction fee will be charged.
There is an option at the checkout to add a voluntary donation to help support the work of the English Folk Dance and Song Society.
Seating is usually unreserved: first come, first served.
Tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged unless a performance has been cancelled or abandoned when less than half the performance has taken place. Transaction fees will not usually be refunded.
As part of our environmental policy, we are no longer issuing paper tickets. When you order online you’ll receive a confirmation email containing your sale number. Please note down your sale number and we’ll check your booking at the box office when you arrive. You won’t need to print out your receipt.
Our cafe is open every day. Only food and drink bought here can be consumed within Cecil Sharp House.
If you purchase ticket(s) for an event promoted by a third party at our venue, we may share your details with this third party.
