Cecil Sharp House - home of the English Folk Dance and Song Society (EFDSS) and the Vaughan Williams Memorial Library (VWML) - is a world-class dedicated folk arts centre. The venue plays host to a number of events including folk concerts, day-long festivals, weekly classes and seasonal courses. Disabled customers who have joined our access register are entitled to a free companion ticket to any of our events.
Any online order containing one or more concert tickets is subject to a £2 transaction fee. Telephone bookings are subject to a £2.50 transaction fee. No transaction fee is payable for orders containing only Education courses or Folkshop items.
There is an option at the checkout to add a voluntary donation to help support the work of the English Folk Dance and Song Society.
All seating is unreserved, and operates on a first-come-first-served basis.
Tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged unless a performance has been cancelled or abandoned when less than half the performance has taken place. Transaction fees will not be refunded in that situation.
Tickets ordered online will be sent as an e-ticket via email. Alternatively, tickets can be held at the box office to be collected on the night.
