Fiddle School

Improve your fiddle playing in a friendly group, led by Pete Cooper, who teaches fiddle playing by ear.


Sing traditional songs from the Britain and beyond, in a cappella harmony arrangements, by choir leader Sally Davies.

Your chance to experience and take part in a real Cajun dance party! No previous experience necessary. Most events begin with a dance class followed by a different live Cajun band each month.

Learn to play Bert Jansch’s special riffs, vamps, elements and iconic compositions. Workshop leaders, Jon Riley and Thomas Fairhurst, give special insights into Bert’s influences as well as his idiosyncrasies and provide study materials, special exercises and some of his compositions.
