Learn lively Cotswold morris dances, complete with hankies and sticks, in this friendly and accessible class.  All levels of experience, including absolute beginners, are welcome.  Led by tutor Andy Richards and accompanied by live music.

 

Long established and much-loved folk club, with monthly guest nights. Floor singers always welcome.

Presenting England's traditional songs with a bold and fresh approach, The Dovetail Trio explores familiar narratives and modern themes with infectious energy and a passion for musical heritage.

Explore English folk music, learn from inspiring tutors and play with other young musicians from your region. Take part in a day of creative folk music workshops and, if you want to, audition for the 2019–20 National Youth Folk Ensemble.

 

Learn English country, ceilidh and barn dancing, and related social folk dance styles from further afield, led by tutor and caller Mike Ruff with live music.  No need to bring a partner and open to dancers of all levels of experience including absolute beginners.

 

 

Phillip Henry and Hannah Martin

In April 2018, Edgelarks (Phillip Henry and Hannah Martin) retreated to a remote cottage in Ulpha, western Cumbria. They breathed in the mountain view, banked up the fire, and took their instruments out of their cases.
